The beginning screen still shows the +1 and not the haunt fall. The new city have a good number of quests in it adding some more playability to the game, including the use of the new dungeon. They have the usual game humor which is quite good. Expansion monsters, items and the new class blend it well with the theme. However, the new dungeon lacks the chance of the original ones of getting the key early and not having to go though all of it. Also, the extra content can hardly be called an expansion. It is more like a minor Halloween update, common in many games in which the devs throw a bone to the loyal players with a little themed content (usually for free).. It is more like a minor Halloween update, common in many games in which the devs throw a bone to the loyal players with a little themed content (usually for free).. Haunted Fall is a short expansion that fits kind of awkwardly into the base game, which is the main reason I can't really recommend it. It adds a new area, Otherworld, which is available from the start of the game, but scaled for parties which are about half to two-thirds of the way through the game. This is a bit awkward, because it means that NG+ saves will have to play through a good bit of the original campaign before they're appropriately levelled for the new content, whereas saves at the end of the game will find Haunted Fall incredibly easy. The big thing is that it adds a new class, though, the Witch. It seemed alright from the little I used it, with an AoE attack that hits all enemies and heals your party, a single-target stun (sleep) and magic damage, and a shield that makes one ally immune to the next attack that hits them and heals them every turn until the shield is used. (Also an initiative and MP-granting passive.) The problem with new classes, though, is that switching to one means creating a new character at level 1.Ultimately, given the contents, the reason I can't recommend Haunted Fall is that it's really best for people who are starting a new game of Knights of Pen & Paper +1, rather than people who have played the game already. Given that this DLC came out over a year after the base game, I'm not sure how many people that includes...!. here is a play through of the dlc. the begining is the Deluxier Edition "Farm Village".https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=k_rii-c3LL8deluxier edition item are listed in a video at the bottom of this review.-note1-if you own the old Deluxe Edition you DO NOT own this dlc but do have everything else in the Deluxier Edition.-note2-the dungeon part has a few buggs and i would advise maybe skipping it on your 1st play or go back after beating the game. You can also back up your save (just copy past all the files in the knightspp_data folder)i'm not sure how bad the bugs are but if there was a meh rating this would get it.This dlc is for about level 14-23 and you have the witch class from the start of the game. The new witch class is nice.A new AoE character is always welcome and it heals as well as hurts. Though it does hits the enemies 1 at a time instead of all at once. The other abilities are a passive buff for mp, a 1 target damage\/sleep spell, and a bubble that heals and stops 1 attack. The new items are ok nothing "end game" but are a nice addition. This video shows everything in the deluxier editionhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/PXodhKkVPSQ. Its always a question when it comes to these kinds of games and DLC about wether or not they are worth the money. But let me get to something else first. Is this expansion fun? Yes it is, i was way overleved for it though, so no real challenge. Now for the worth question, its not worth 5 Dollars. Its way to short for it and doesnt add enough to the game for it to be worth. After all its 50% of the price of the original game (for me at least). So it should have at least 50% of the content length, actually longer since alot of the technical stuff like engine and so on are already figured out. But, would i buy it again? Yes, cause i support people who make good games in general.. A fun little side bit to the game, but definitely overpriced. I am glad I snagged it at half price or I'd have been very disappointed in the value..
